By using the site, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these conditions. They may be modified at any time and without notice by European Movement, which cannot be held responsible in any way for any misuse of the service.

ARTICLE 1 - DEFINITIONS

For the interpretation of these General Terms and Conditions of Use of the platform "My.realdeal", the terms used hereafter, in the plural or singular, are defined as follows:

• Contributor: refers to any person who has created an "Account" through which they connect using a username and password that are strictly personal and confidential to them, and who intervene on the Platform either to publish a proposal or to comment on a proposal on the Platform.
• Contribution: means any proposal or opinion on a proposal written by a Contributor and which may be modified within a period of 1 hour. 
• Content: Designates any content published by a Contributor on the Platform, and in particular, any proposal or opinion given on a proposal.
• Account: refers to a Contributor's personal space on the platform http://my.realdeal.eu/ allowing them to access specific content and to contribute to the creation of Content on the Platform.
• Platform: refers to the digital tool on this website, accessible to all via the Site and through which Users can contribute via their "Account".
• Visitor: entails any person who has access to and/or uses the Site without having opened an "Account" or used a Service.

ARTICLE 2 - PURPOSE

The purpose of these Terms and Conditions of Use is to define the terms and conditions for using the Participatory Platform which is made available by the Publisher and accessible to all.

The Publisher has set up the platform http://my.realdeal.eu/ allowing Contributors to participate in various participatory and deliberative processes on topics related to the European Green Deal.

Contributors are invited to participate in three main ways:

• Giving their opinion on, supporting, or commenting on surveys or proposals already published on the platform
• By sharing their proposals to enrich the project with their experiences and ideas.
• In voting on the proposals

ARTICLE 3 - SCOPE OF APPLICATION

The Terms and Conditions of the platform apply, without restriction or reservation, to all services offered on the Platform. They are additional, where necessary, to the special conditions applicable to certain services offered within the various sections of the site. They take effect as of their publication on the site and remain in force until they are partially or totally modified by the Publisher.

ARTICLE 4 - CONTRIBUTION CREATION PROCESS

4.1 Creation of a Contribution

Only Contributors may participate. This means that the creation of a Contribution or its modification implies having (i) created an Account, and (ii) fully and completely accepted the Terms and Conditions of the Site.

The information submitted by the Contributor when creating their Account and allowing them to be accurately and honestly identified.

4.2 Contribution Forms

Each Contributor may choose to have their proposal published under their name or under a pseudonym.

The choice of a pseudonym must conform to the following rules:

• It is not permitted to usurp the identity of another natural or legal person, by choosing a pseudonym of such a nature so as to create confusion or deride a natural or legal person.
• Pseudonyms containing insulting, oppressing or discriminating references (such as racist, sexist, homophobic, ableist or xenophobic etc.) are also prohibited.

The use of a pseudonym does not exonerate the user from any criminal or civil liability that may result from the published contents, even when they have been deleted by their own initiative and/or that of the Publisher.

The Contributor who makes a Contribution must ensure that its text complies with the laws and regulations in force, and the public order, as presented in the Terms and Conditions of use and the Code of Conduct (link).

The Contributor hereby agrees that their Contributions on the Platform may be commented, by the community of Contributors and consulted by all Platform Visitors.

4.3 Referencing of Contributions

All Contributions published on the Platform are likely to be referenced on a search engine and, therefore, to be consulted by an external public which will have access to the public data defined by the Contributor when opening their Account.

ARTICLE 5 - CONTENT MODERATION

It is the contributors' responsibility to ensure that their content does not infringe the rights and freedoms of others and complies with the regulations in force.

The publication of contents provided by the contributor is subject to a posteriori moderation by the publisher who reserves the right to withdraw/delete content that does not comply with laws and regulations, present in the Terms and Conditions of Use or the Platform's Code of Conduct (link).

Contributor and visitors are invited to report any content that is contrary to the principles and values listed above to the publisher via the reporting links on the site or by sending an e-mail to contact@realdeal.eu 

ARTICLE 6- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY OF THE PUBLISHER

The information contained on this site is as accurate as possible and the site is periodically updated, but may contain inaccuracies, omissions or gaps. If you notice an absence, error or what appears to be a malfunction, please report it by email to contact@realdeal.eu describing the problem as precisely as possible (page causing the problem, action triggered, type of computer and browser used...).

Any downloaded content is done at the user's own risk and under their sole responsibility. Consequently, European Movement shall not be liable for any damage to the user's computer or any loss of data resulting from downloading.

The hyperlinks set up within the framework of this website, linking to other resources on the internet, are not under the responsibility of European Movement.

ARTICLE 7 – Privacy Policy

This platform will collect some personal data that will be used only to the extent necessary for the purposes of providing these services. The data collected will be used in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (https://gdpr.eu/).

ARTICLE 8 - RIGHT OF ACCESS AND CONFIDENTIALITY

In application of this law, internet users have the right to access, correct, modify and delete personal data. This right may be exercised by mail to contact@realdeal.eu. The personal information collected will not be passed on to third parties under any circumstances.
