   This is the information stage. Learn more about the topics of deliberation. During the deliberation, you will be briefed by experts on the different topics. Find here a summary of each topic that will be discussed.

   Deliberations

   Citizens from all over Europe come together in Brussels for one and a half days of lively discussions. In an innovative EU-wide deliberation run by professional facilitators, you will discuss the future of the European Green Deal - Europe’s plan to decarbonise and become a climate neutral continent by 2050. Citizens will discuss the future direction of the ecological transition in Europe, participating in different themed focus groups such as the transforming the food and energy system, changing our economy, and protecting biodiversity.

   What: In-person Citizens Deliberation, titled: 'Towards a European Pact for the Future – Charting the Next Steps in Our Ecological Transition.'

   When: Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 10th, 2024.

   Closure and Follow Up

   The discussion does not stop here! The main results of the deliberation will be summarised and published on the online platform for further discussions before the European elections in June 2024.
